This week didn't go as planned. School has been really stressful the past couple of days as my classes are switching over to review for the exams. I have been trying to study for them and get ready to take them and hope I pass. I went to the gym Tuesday and Friday. Those days I worked on abs and legs. My arms have been sore lately were i've been pushing really hard. Some weeks I wanted to give up because I felt like I couldn't do it. But I just kept on pushing and i'm glad I did. I want to thank y'all for coming along the journey with me as I tell you my journey. It has been fun and I will keep on pushing!

This week I didn't get to go to the gym as much as I wanted to. I went only two times this week which was Tuesday and Friday. Tuesday I worked on abs and arms. I did crunches, sit ups, push ups, curls, and arm wings. Friday I worked on abs and legs. I did the same things for abs as I did Tuesday, but for legs I did leg pushes, squats, and leg curls. For my meals this week I cooked salmon, chicken, and steak, with some healthy sides that was quick and easy.
This week I worked on legs and arms. For my leg workouts I always start with a mile of either running, walking, or doing stair steps. Then I like to do the leg press and I have noticed a big difference in the amount of weight I have been able to put since the start. For arms I start off with curls. Then I go to the machine where you have to pull down two bars with the weight of your choice. I try to do something different each time so i'm not doing the same thing each time but these are just the ones I like the most. For this weeks meals we had home made pizza with a cauliflower crust, spaghetti with zucchini noodles, grilled salmon and green beans, and baked chicken.
This week I worked on abs the whole week. I want to get them more defined as I can. I started by doing 50 crunches on the crunch machine. Next I do sit ups. I know they are about the same but it's where they work your muscles. Then I headed over to the twist machine. You add the desired weight you want and hold two handles, your knees are on a padded cushion and all you do is twist. Finally I went to the machine where you have to bring your knees up to your chest. I finished this weeks days with hydro massaging that I get with my membership.
This week I have to admit I have been struggling on my eating habits. I work at Cj's bbq near the old Davie High School and it's just an old diner. There nothing to really eat there that is healthy but since I get off so late there is nothing around me that is open. I try to eat healthy so I normally get a sausage, egg, and cheese wrap with lettuce and tomato inside. For lunch I get some sort of salad, normally it is a grilled chicken salad. And for dinner I will get a grilled chicken wrap. When I get off of work I work out at home. This week I went and ran on the back road behind my house which is 2 miles long. So in total I end up running 4 miles a day.
This week I didn't have time to go to the gym at all. I have been working everyday this week and will continue to work a lot. But that still hasn't stopped me from working out. I worked out at home this week so I still am doing some sort of cardio. I first started off by working on abs. I did 100 sit ups and 50 crunches. I then moved on to planking which I did for 1 minute. This is basically all I did this week. So far I haven't noticed any changes to my body which is kind of disappointing but hopefully others can tell.
This week I worked out everyday. I worked on arms this week to gain strength in them. I first start off by doing fifty push up followed by curls. After curls I do the bench press and I do this in 3 sets of 10. After that I move and do ropes. Ropes I do for 1 minute and try to improve of how many I can do each time. My eating habits have improved but I still have a cheat day. This week we had grilled chicken salads, turkey burgers (I had no bun), a keto friendly pizza, and salmon. But I still had my craving for bojangles and I got the kids chicken supreme's and fries with sweet tea. I also have been making smoothies everyday and I started to put protein powder in them.
During this week I didn't get to work out as much as I wanted to but I still managed to make it happen. I went to the gym on Tuesday and Friday. During the time that I was there I worked on legs. I started off by running one mile on the treadmill then I switched to bicycling which I did for a half of a mile. Next I did the leg press where you lay down and you push a plat form up which you can change the weight to what fits you. And last I did squats. I squatted 205 pounds and I did this 15 times. After I was through with the gym I finished off the day with a wonderful protein smoothie from Juice Life that is right beside planet fitness. This week I made some pretty healthy meals like grilled chicken salads, spaghetti made with zucchini noodles, and stuffed chicken peppers. Also I started making my own smoothies at home with frozen bananas, blueberries, and some coconut water, that way i can save some money.
